Imagine this: Eastbourne Beach, a beautiful hazy day, Holly with her baby bump strolling with her wife Alice and their labradoodle, Winnie. Yep, that’s the scene for this maternity photoshoot – no frills, just good vibes and sandy paws!

As a photographer, I’m all about keeping it real, capturing those genuine moments that make life awesome. And let me tell you, Eastbourne's beach vibes provided the perfect backdrop for our little adventure.

Holly and Alice expressed how nervous they were of having photos done. "We don't like being in photos" - who hasn't heard that before? But they became total naturals in front of the camera, laughing and joking as if they were old pals catching up. Meanwhile, Winnie stole the show with her goofy grin and tail wagging like there's no tomorrow. Who knew a dog could have such star quality?

We wandered along the shoreline, soaking up the salty air and letting the waves lull us into a sense of calm. It was like something out of a rom-com, with Holly and Alice sharing tender moments between giggles and Winnie trying to chase the seagulls.

But amidst all the fun, there was something truly magical about the bond between this soon-to-be family of three (or four, if you count Winnie). You could feel the love and excitement in the air, mixing with the salty sea breeze to create beautiful shots.

As the sun dipped lower in the sky, casting a warm glow over the beach, we wrapped up our shoot with hearts full of joy and smiles on our faces. Because sometimes, the best memories are the ones that happen spontaneously – no over posing, no pressure, just good times with great company.
