My 'drop in' Photoshoots

How it started...

I started my drop in sessions because I had my daughter and realised that I was so lucky to be able to take regular photos of her to celebrate milestones but also just to show her day-to-day growth.

Most family photoshoots are incredible to celebrate family and create memories. They're generally an hour or more so that we can make your comfortable and capture your personalities and the all of the emotion. However they're an investment and not affordable for most to have taken every few months.

Enter my free drop in photoshoots. Short sessions, simple themes, timeless photos, baby led and natural.

The sessions have recently had to change format due to venues and I now charge a £5 booking fee to secure your spot.

FAQ

Where are the sessions?

I run sessions from the Victoria Baptist Church in Eastbourne and from the Hellingly Hub in Hellingly. If you know of a venue that you think might be well suited to this please don't hesitate to reach out.

Do I have to book?

Yes. In 2024 I changed the way these sessions work to suit everyone involved. I now take a £5 booking fee but with no obligation to purchase any photos afterwards.

How much does it actually cost?

The format has recently changed and I now charge a £5 booking fee to secure a spot. If you then wish to buy photos then prices start from £10 and bundles are clearly displayed on your gallery, but there is no obligation to purchase.

How do I get my photos?

On the booking form you fill out upon arrival I take your email address and this is where I will send your private, password protected gallery.

How long are the sessions?

My drop in sessions are up to ten minute sessions.

They are short and sweet so I can get through as many of you as possible. If this doesn't feel like a good fit for your baby then please have a look at my other family and baby photography options. My full family sessions allow me the time to create a bond between your children and myself meaning I can often capture more intimate, real moments of them and with you.

How old does my baby have to be?

These sessions are ideally suited to babies older than 3 months and younger than 15 months.

I recommend these ages because they're pretty easy going which for the time frame we have is beneficial. Newborns can need additional attention and time to make sure they're comfortable. On the opposite end, once they're up and walking that is all they want to do and my set up is not suited to running about.

That being said, if you would like to bring your child along to see how it goes then I am happy to photograph any age. I just can't guarantee how successful it might be, and would recommend instead at looking to invest in an hour-long family session instead.

Can I bring siblings?

Yes! Absolutely bring siblings along to be photographed with your baby or toddler. The majority of my drop-ins are booked for weekday mornings but I do occasionally put one on in the holidays or at the weekend to allow for children of school age to come along.
